Milk ½ lt
Rice 25gms
Sugar 30gms
Rose petal
4nos
Cardamom powder
5gms
Almonds 20gms
Raisins 20gms
PREPARATION:
Pick, wash and
soak rice for ½ hr. drain and keep aside. Bring milk to boil. Add in rice, bring
to boil, simmer, and stirring frequently until rice gets cooked and the liquid
becomes thick (coating consistency). Stir in sugar, cardamom powder and soaked
raisins. Stir for another minute until the sugar dissolves. Transfer the
pudding in four service bowls.
Garnish with almond slivers and rose petals.
Can be served hot or cold.
