cauliflower flowerettes 250gm
clarified fat 50gm
onion sliced 20gm
ginger garlic paste 5gm
red chilli powder 1/2tspn
coriander seeds 1/2tspn
raisins 1tspn
cashewnut paste 1tspn
fenugreek leaves a pinch
garam masala powder a pinch
beaten curd 100ml
mawa 50gm
fried cashewnuts 4 - 5 nos
crushed peppercorns 2nos
oil to fry
salt to taste
water 50ml


Wash cauliflower flowerettes. Deep fry in hot oil till half cooked. Remove. Heat fat, crackle coriander seeds, shallow fry onions till golden, add in ginger - garlic paste. Stir for 30 seconds. Add red chilli powder, curd, peppercorns, stir till fat leaves the mixture. Add cauliflower, salt, mawa, water, cover and cook over slow fire until done. Remove the lid, sprinkle garam masala powder, fenugreek, another 30seconds, without breaking the cauliflower flowerettes. Dish out.

Garnish and serve with  hot parantha.
